A festival of folds and embellishments, the BZ4X is like a 1980s vision of what cars would look like in the 21st century. In terms of dimensions, the BZ4X is 184.6 inches long, slightly longer than the RAV4, and has a 112.2-inch wheelbase, the same as the Highlander.

The 2023 BZ4X will be available with front-wheel drive, but it’s no surprise that four-wheel drive models will also be available. The first configuration has a 150 kW (201 hp) electric motor, but the second has a pair of 80 kW generators, providing a total output of 160 kW (215 hp). Front-wheel-drive BZ4Xs have a 71.4-kilowatt-hour battery pack, but surprisingly, all-wheel-drive examples have a slightly larger pack, clocking in at 72.8 kWh. The reason for this difference is that the batteries are assembled by two different companies; one made by Panasonic, one by CATL. Additionally, each is tuned to work best with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
As for range, the BZ4X with XLE and front-wheel drive is expected to do about 250 miles on a single charge.
