A standard Sportage can tow 1650 or 2000 pounds with trailer brakes.
The new 2023 Sportage Hybrid is built on the same ‘N3’ platform as the new Sorrento, with increased torsional stiffness for sharper handling and a more controlled ride. Additionally, the increased use of sound-absorbing and sound-insulating materials has reduced indoor noise levels.

Best Used Hybrid Suvs For 2022: Reviews, Photos, And More
Last year BMW unveiled the Concept XM. This is a ferocious plug-in hybrid SUV that previews the brand’s first M-only model since the 1978 M1 supercar. The 2023 BMW XM is here now, and it’s not just the XM judging by the reaction to the concept, but the reaction to most new BMWs (and luxury SUVs in general of high performance), most people will hate it. It’s a shame, because if you open your mind and expand your horizons, you’ll find that the new XM is truly amazing.
The production XM looks basically exactly like the Concept except for the Concept’s two-tone paint scheme for the actual door handles and lower taillights. Overall, the XM is about 2 inches shorter than the X7 with which it shares the platform, but the XM is wider and 3 inches lower thanks to its roofline. The rear window is much more useful than the X7’s, but BMW doesn’t call the XM a coupe.
The front is dominated by two massive kidney stones, whose contours are bright. With the protruding hood scoop, ultra-thin LED headlights and dark “hidden” headlights under the hood, the XM looks like an angry cartoon pig. The XM has a high waistline and wide wheelbase with sculpted fenders and large black wheel arches that flow under the glossy bodywork. According to the concept, slim taillights wrap around the rear fenders, the actual lights themselves are only visible inside the lens hood when illuminated, and a set of hexagonal exhaust vents flank the rear bumper. Best of all, the production XM retains the concept’s striking tailgate glass, the tip of which mirrors the shape of the M1’s rear and features BMW’s two round tubes laser-etched into the glass. (It also has a rear wiper!)
Like the concept, there is a stripe that wraps around the window and continues on the beltline, usually in gloss black but available in Midnight Gold. You can also add to the section. Seven exterior colors are available at launch, with more to come in the summer. More than 50 BMW Individual colors will eventually be available. The XM comes standard with 23″ wheels with summer tires, but 22″ wheels with aero threads are an option. BMW also offers a two-tone 23-inch wheel design, seen here, which features BMW 3D lettering on the center caps.

Unfortunately, the XM’s interior retains the three vertical vents and armrests in the center console, but it has a unique dashboard design and some interesting details that set it apart from the X7. The large, curved iDrive screen is set in matte carbon fiber panels, finished in pearlescent-effect carbon and chrome. The XM has a rear seat that BMW calls the M Lounge. The three-way sofa has upholstered cushions, integrated covers and a padded leather panel that extends to the door. The XM is also available with Vintage Coffee Merino leather for the dashboard and door panels in the main colors of Silverstone or Deep Lagoon.
