List Of Toyota Suv Cars – Toyota builds some of the most popular and popular SUVs in the automotive industry. There’s a wide variety of offerings, from affordable, well-equipped options to ready-to-go off-roaders, and almost all of the automaker’s SUVs are offered with an electrified drive option. One of the big additions this year is Toyota’s first true EV, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the updates are trivial. Here’s what’s new in all of Toyota’s SUVs for 2023.
The Corolla Cross is one of Toyota’s newest SUVs and the most significant addition to the existing model for 2023. The 37 mpg Corolla Cross Hybrid joins the lineup as the automaker’s most expensive hybrid SUV.

Toyota also installs its next-generation infotainment software as standard with wireless smartphone mirrors, over-the-air updates, the “Hi Toyota” digital assistant and navigation with Google POI data. All Corolla Crosses get Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, an improved version of Safety Sense 2.0, which was standard on last year’s Corolla Cross. The suite includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking and automatic high beams.

Bad news for fans of the cheap and stylish C-HR: Toyota has abandoned the subcompact crossover and 2022 will be its last model year. The Japanese automaker showed off a hot new concept car that previews the upcoming C-HR, but that vehicle won’t be sold in America. People looking for an affordable Toyota SUV should look at the Corolla Cross.
The compact RAV4 is the heart of Toyota’s SUV lineup, and the new model year brings a hybrid special edition and some new technology. As for the former, we’re looking at the RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition (pictured), which follows in the footsteps of last year’s Sienna Woodland.
Toyota’s Woodland treatment means extra off-road capability, and for the RAV4, that means TRD-tuned suspension, off-road tires, taller roof rails in black and a 120-volt household outlet in the cargo area. RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition is further differentiated with model-specific rubber floor mats, black badging and special bronze wheels. Toyota also brings its latest infotainment software to all RAV4s.
Toyota’s mid-size hybrid SUV, the Venza, sees significant upgrades for the new model, including an updated infotainment system and standard Toyota Safety Sense 2.5. Toyota has updated the device’s charging mode with USB-C ports and a wireless charging pad for all trims. A 7.0-inch instrument cluster display is now standard.

The XLE now includes a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, previously optional but standard on the Limited, while the top trim adds a head-up display, rain-sensing wipers, an eight-way passenger seat and a 12.3-inch seat. A cluster of digital devices. LED fog lights are now standard on the top trims as well. Finally, Toyota added an XLE-based Venza Nightshade Edition with black interior and exterior accents.
Arriving in 2020, the current generation Highlander needed a mid-cycle refresh. Toyota has provided, starting with a new 2.4-liter turbo 4-cylinder, that replaces the old V-6. A 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster is now standard, even on the base Highlander. A hands-free power liftgate is now available on mid-level Highlander XLE and XSE trim levels. Higher trims, the Limited and Platinum, get dual 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment system and instrument cluster, as well as power-folding side mirrors.
Toyota isn’t making any major updates to the 2023 4Runner, but it is offering a new special edition in honor of the old truck’s birthday. The 40th Anniversary Special Edition 4Runner is based on the SR5 Premium, but with retro-inspired red, orange, and yellow stripes (calling back to Ivan “Ironman” Stewart’s Baja Race Trucks), as well as sweet bronze TRD Pro wheels. Unique badges and interior touches complete the transformation of what will inevitably be one of the most collectible fifth-generation 4Runners.
Without a doubt, the bZ4X name is Toyota’s only new model for 2023, and it’s the automaker’s first mass-market electric vehicle. Developed in partnership with Subaru (which has its own version of the electric SUV called the Solterra), the bZ4X is the first of seven Toyota SUVs to bear the “bZ” moniker. The new battery-powered SUV is offered in single-motor FWD and dual AWD configurations and offers a range of up to 252 miles. It also gets Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which uses new sensors and cameras to improve active safety features.
