Last year, Mercedes unveiled the EQB, an electric crossover derived from the boxy, compact GLB. The EQB shares much of its chassis with its petrol-powered sibling, but swaps the four-cylinder engine for a 66.5kWh battery and a single or dual motor setup. Now, Mercedes-Benz has revealed pricing information for the 2022 EQB before it goes on sale later this year.
The EQB comes with two powertrain options, each with two trim levels. The EQB300 has four-wheel drive and an electric motor that produces 225 horsepower and 288 pound-feet of torque. The entry-level EQB300 Exclusive starts at $56,800, while a step up to the EQB300 Pinnacle will set you back $59,350.

Upgrading to the EQB350 gives buyers two electric motors good for 288 horsepower and 324 lb.-ft. In spec guise, the EQB350 starts at $60,350, while the Pinnacle goes for $61,400. On both the EQB300 and EQB350, choosing the Pinnacle adds features like a Burmester surround sound system, a panoramic sunroof and a surround camera.
The EPA hasn’t published range figures for the EQB, but on the more generous European WLTP test cycle, the twin-engine EQB achieved a rating of 260 miles. Mercedes says the EQB will go on sale in the US this summer.
