New Cars Under 35000 Suv – In the £25,000 to £35,000 range, you could be driving a Skoda Kodiaq seven-seater SUV, an odd-looking Hyundai Tucson or a ridiculously cheap Renault Zoe. There are plenty of family cars available in this price range, but we’ve found a wide range of cars that drive well, look good and will be economical.
If you want a large family car with seven seats, the Kodiaq is one of the mid-budget options. It’s not the biggest seven-seater on the market – minivans and vans are better at carrying passengers comfortably – but most buyers prefer the SUV’s style. And as an SUV, the Kodiaq makes its mark. It’s comfortable for all passengers – if you agree that the sixth and seventh seats are best for children – with plenty of storage space, and a large boot with the rear seats folded down and equipped.

The powerful 1.5-litre petrol engine is cheap to run, quiet and smooth and the Kodiaq is fun to drive too. While the Skoda has been largely designed with sophistication in mind, it has a long list of equipment that includes 18-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, navigation, rear view camera and auto-dimming rearview mirror.
Chevy Bolt Euv Voted Best Ev Under $35,000 By Kbb
The MG ZS EV is the marque’s most attractive model to date, thanks to an excellent powertrain that takes the ZS from its inception to class-leading. It’s a fantastic company car option because of its extremely low tax bills, but it’s also great for many other reasons.
For starters, it’s comfortable and easy to drive. The all-electric configuration provides high power at low speeds, as well as near-silent operation and extremely low cost. It is comfortable yet offers a lively action and has plenty of space inside. The 470 liter trunk is very spacious, especially considering the ZS EV’s compact dimensions.
Two versions are available SE and Trophy. Unless you really need heated leather seats and wireless phone charging, the SE should provide all the gear you need. You get LED lights, sat nav, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry and starting, phone connectivity and a 360-degree parking camera.
There are plenty of electric cars to choose from in this price range, and we believe they’re making the best company cars right now. Favorable tax rates mean they’re so cheap to run that it seems a mistake – just £6 a month? Could it be true?
The Best Cars Under $35,000
Look beyond the running costs and the Zoe is a great car. It’s a pleasure to drive, the interior is pleasant and well-equipped: every trim level gets air conditioning, keyless entry, parking sensors, cruise control, AEB and automatic lights and wipers.
Zoe R135 is the best in rapid charge form. This version has a range of 245 miles, which is enough for a small electric car, and has 50 kW fast charging technology that charges the battery from 0 to 80 percent in an hour. That translates to about 290 miles of range, so long trips aren’t as unattainable as you might think. Charging at home takes nine and a half hours – best if you leave it overnight.
Like most Hyundais, the Tucson is a practical and stylish choice. It is a mid-size SUV designed for families and it works with an efficient and powerful engine, a spacious interior and a comfortable ride.
The hybrid gasoline engine provides efficiency and smooth operation. Up to 227 hp, it offers high performance, but is still very efficient and very quiet, especially on the highway. The Tucson has plenty of space, with 616 liters more boot space than many rivals (and the station wagon). Easy to load, get in and out. The SE Connect trim includes 17-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, AEB, keyless start and a 10.25-inch touchscreen with internet connectivity.

The Tucson is also good to drive – the controls are light but still satisfying and the driving position is comfortable. The suspension masks road imperfections well while maintaining composure in corners.
If you have your eye on the Fiat 500 as a commercial vehicle, you might also want to consider the new all-electric model. Being an electric vehicle, it is very affordable for company car users, as is the running cost. Compared to its closest competitors, it’s excellent value for money.
The Icon model comes with 16-inch alloy wheels and a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity, but stands out with its 499-mile range and 85kW of charging power. It takes about 35 minutes to charge up to 80% at a public charging station.
The Fiat 500 isn’t as roomy as the Renault Zoe, and the three-door body means it’s not as practical, but more stylish and has everything you need. It’s more fun to drive than the petrol 500 because the powerful electric motor means it’s really quick at low speeds. Like all electric vehicles, the 500 is quiet and comfortable at low speeds – perfect for city driving.

The Corolla makes sense as a company car: it’s spacious and practical for a family, efficient enough to cut the tax bill, and fun to drive.
A hybrid powertrain means low CO2 emissions and impressive fuel economy – over 60 mpg should be possible at regular intervals. It’s easy to get around town and it’s quiet, but it attracts enthusiastic drivers. There’s a good amount of boot space – or you can opt for the Touring Sports Station Wagon version – and plenty of legroom and headroom in the rear.
Design features include 17-inch alloy wheels, auto-dimming and folding mirrors, satellite navigation, keyless entry, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, dual-zone climate control and electric lumbar support.
